When should professional Christmas decoration be planned?

Large-scale mall, hotel, and municipal projects should be reserved at least 8 weeks in advance — meaning September-October. Medium and small projects can fit a 3-4 week window. From mid-November onward, demand drives prices up by 20-30% and preferred products run out of stock. Ramadan decoration ideally starts February-March.

Which IP rating is required for outdoor LED?

For Türkiye's wet and freezing climate, outdoor Christmas decorations require minimum IP65-IP67 rated products (IEC 60529 standard). This rating provides full dust protection and resistance to water jets from any direction. For poolsides, coastal locations, or floor-level applications, IP68 (short-term submersion resistance) should be selected for safety.^[1]

   Outdoor cabling uses rubber-sheathed insulation that resists cold-cracking. Standard PVC cable is avoided on façades.

   Waterproof transformer and residual-current protection

   LED transformers are housed in IP65 enclosures. Adding a residual-current device (RCD) to the panel is standard practice.

   LED products carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty, with a 1-season installation warranty running until dismantling.
